AMS has been an independent practising Arbitrator since 2006. As an experienced and a Full Member of the LMAA, she accepts appointments in any disputes concerning shipping and commercial contracts under those terms or, if the appointment is by the LCIA, the LCIA rules would apply. She has dealt with a variety of commercial and maritime disputes and published awards either as a sole arbitrator or as a member of a panel. In particular, she has been appointed in both simple charter party disputes and very complex ones including: construction of contracts, disputes involving a chain of charter parties, (including Supplytime) ship-management, MOA for ship or ship-company sale, insurance and P & I claims, bills of lading and international trade claims, shipbuilding, (including the construction of buoys).
